Grocery Spotlight: Whole Foods Based Family of Two

Grocery Spotlight: Whole Foods Based Family of Two, Guest Post on in-dependent.org | Vibrant Life Army Wife

I feel very fortunate to have been invited to guest post over on in-dependent.org. The ladies at InDependent are doing some fabulous things to promote a healthy lifestyle through good food, fitness, and community with the goal of inspiring military spouses to thrive. As you all know, being a military spouse myself, this is something that is very important to me as well, so I was thrilled to be able to share over on their site.

One of the things they are doing to help military spouses thrive with good nutrition is sharing monthly grocery spotlights. In these grocery spotlights the contributor shares their menu for the week including how much they spent on groceries, recipes, and a breakdown of the grocery budget. As a big fan of meal planning, this was really fun for me to do. We aren’t strict budget type of people (although maybe we should be) but it was interesting for me to add up how much we spent on groceries for the week and what percentage of our budget was spent on each category.

So check out my Grocery Spotlight guest post over on InDependent for a free meal plan, a peek into how much we spend on groceries, and some delicious recipes! And while you’re there you should also check out their awesome posts on fitness, natural living, and military spouse problems!

In vibrant health,

Kiersten

Share the vibrancy!
